He thoroughly cleaned, serviced and touched up the interior/exterior of my gas stove; it looks amazing and runs so much better. I’ve never felt very familiar with the features or operation of the stove and Tim took the time to explain how it all worked, what was ‘normal’ and said it is in very good shape. I mentioned how much easier it’d be to have a remote for it instead of crawling down turning it off/on under the stove every time - he had the add-on feature in the truck and installed it right away! We were referred to Tim by someone who had used his services and he did not disappoint. Showed up on time, very good communication about what he was going to do and did. He actually determined we did not need a new pilot assembly as I was told by the factory and he cleaned it all up and works great. Saved me money in the long run. This fireplace never looked and performed so good. He is on my calendar to do all future inspections and repairs. Highly recommend Tim!
We had our gas fireplace cleaned & inspected. Tim easily identified the problem that was causing it to burn dirty, fixed it, and got our fireplace looking beautiful! He is incredibly knowledgeable and did a fantastic job educating us on how to use and monitor our gas fireplace. He clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. When we install a backyard firepit we'll definitely call Tim!
Tim did a great job with our wooden fireplace conversion to a gas insert. He was highly available, provided us with a ton of support and made good on all of his delivery dates. We are extremely happy with the finished product and would highly recommend him to anyone who is interested. His prices were lower and ETAs weeks sooner than his competition. We would certainly go through him again if we had need for a second insert!
Amazingly great customer service!! I was anxious about my gas fireplace not working consistently and Tim came over and fixed it. He cleaned it so that not only did it work 1000x better but it looked better too. He also took the time to explain what he did and how the stove works and really put me at ease. I am really pleased with the service I received, and I will go back for as long as I own a gas stove! 10/10 would recommend!!
Overall – Tim was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional especially during the Covid-19 times. Highly recommend! I called Tim to get our gas fireplace serviced and inspected because the pilot light wasn't working. He explained what to …expect during the appointment and the costs. He worked his magic on our fireplace, cleaned it and everything! He also didn't try to sell us on a receiver but rather said we could find one cheaper on Amazon. I really appreciated this because I feel like some companies will try and take advantage of new homeowners by making you buy products from them at a much higher cost.
I had just purchased a home with a gas fireplace in the living room and a gas stove in the basement. Had no idea what condition they were in or the last time they were used. Started looking for a company to come out and service the 2 units and could not ignore all the great reviews for Fireside Gas. Tim scheduled the service quickly, arrived on time, serviced the 2 units, spent time explaining everything that he found, and went over all the details necessary to operate the units correctly and safely. On top of all that, the price was fair! Very happy with my decision to go with Fireside Gas and highly recommend their service.
100% recommend Tim to anyone that needs fireplace service. He originally gave me advice over the phone thinking it may be an easy fix after my gas had been shut off for repair for a bit; trying to save me money. Unfortunately, that didn’t work and I gave him a call back. He was able to squeeze me in at the end of his schedule the very next day.
He quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired the fireplace. He explained everything in depth and answered all questions. He even cleaned the inside of my fireplace before he left!

Phenomenal. Tim is extremely knowledgeable and personable, and he happily walked me through what he was doing while he worked. He was considerate, wore his mask, and cleaned up as he went. He took his time and was incredibly thorough, and not only got our old fireplace working but got it looking better than new and gave me tips to keep it that way. Really reasonable pricing too. I was immediately impressed with Tim's knowledge and professionalism. He quickly discovered that a brick had fallen from our chimney and landed on top of our gas fireplace. If he hadn't taken the time to pull it out we wouldn't have discovered there was an issue. He thoroughly cleaned and inspected the unit for safety.
